#hcrt Institute for Federal Health Care Patient Centered Roundtable

On Friday March 4th, 2011 I attended a roundtable event organized by the Institute for Federal HealthCare and Lifetime Health Diary. The topic -Patient Centered Health Care. The title:

"The Healthcare IT Puzzle: Something is Missing... Oh, Yes, The Patient!"

Thankfully the invitation only event had invited some great patient advocates such as Amy Tendrich of DiabetesMine, Dave deBronkart aka @ePatientDave and Regina Holliday (@ReginaHolliday).

While there was no Wi-Fi available at yet another Health care oriented event and Clearwire 4G service wasn't penetrating the building we were able to get cell phone access. This meant that a number of us at the event were tweeting from our phones.

Since Twitter tends to forget Tweets after about a week I thought I would capture the tweets and include them in a post here. If you want to do your own search on Twitter we used the hashtag #hcrt for the session.

If you find the conversation interesting you should plan to attend a HealthCamp event and continue the conversation. It looks like a number of us will be going to HealthCamp San Diego on March 20th, the day before the Health 2.0 Spring Fling.
